“We had lived in NYC for over 10 years and when we started to look for a home in the suburbs we insisted we did not want to do any work on the house.
Three years later we found a fixer upper on a piece of property that we loved. Louis had worked on our good friends’ home the year before so we always had him in mind when we began our process.
He was very patient with us “newbies” as we had never done a project let alone an entire house renovation before. He was always available and took time to explain to us the process and what certain architectural details were.
He was also onsite weekly working directly with the general contractor to ensure that all of the phases of the project were to plan. Having multiple site visits from the architect is very unusual but Louis is a perfectionist and it shows in his houses. We also knew we would like our home but we never imagined falling in love with it! It brings such joy to us and all who visit.”
